From [livejournal.com profile] woodyinvincible. I wonder if I can do this in less than ten minutes. Unlikely.

I'm not really a movie person. )

Okay, couldn't do it in 10. And now I'm late for work. ::facepalm::

Hey, dudes. Pure Yellow Colour plays Lestat's Open Mic nights on Monday. Time slots vary, but so far we've had the awesome luck of getting our ideal time between 7:50 and 8:10pm, so come support us! For those of you who ::sniffle:: didn't show last Monday, or ::weep:: are geographically challenged, this is what you missed:

And yes, that is a Threadless.com tee shirt, I'm wearing. Get "Caged" and always have a song in your heart!

Yeah. I don't know what I'm going to do about my website.

Recorded another cover. If I'd never heard the original, I'd probably really like it.

Also am inexplicably looking forward to Art School Confidential.

From [livejournal.com profile] thefridayfive. Couldn't resist.

1. Who was your favorite all time teacher(s)? Brett, mostly. I loved Deana, and Mr. Helle and Mr. Dixon, too.
2. What did they teach? Computing in the Arts (new media art theory and practice), Spanish, English, and Integrated Math, respectively.
3. What is your best memory from that class? Camping out in Blair Valley. Tiring but fun. As for Deana, class was always fun. I don't have a specific memory from the class.. maybe the breakfast study group at the Mexican place. She employed me, so that was good too. Helle was kind of a hardass, but every Friday he'd start the class by playing us music and having us analyze it, like a poem. Dixon gave out pie on Pi day. He's pretty much the only math teacher who was able to make math fun for me.
4. Did you ever have a crush on a teacher and if so who? Heh. Not so much the teachers as their assistants. ;P
5. What is the craziest/wildest/weirdest thing you (or someone you know) ever did at school? I personally never did anything crazy, wild, or weird. I used to drag my guitar around and have little impromptu concerts, but I don't think it's particularly out of the ordinary. One time, just before the end of our senior year, Dan (and Dax, presumably) got stinking drunk before sixth period. Dan came in, stumbled into the desk behind me, tapped me on the shoulder, and lazily informed me that he was smashed, before passing out. I sort of made my way to the other side of the room. In the middle of lecture, he woke up, puked all over his desk and what would have been me had I not moved, stumbled out of the classroom, and passed out in the soccer field. Yeah. I think he got suspended, or something. Good times.

Separately, isn't Emily sexay? I don't usually dig blond (on a girl, anyway.. I'm more for Karen O, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kate Moennig for girls; I don't really think I have a guy type), but ROWR. The concert will be HOT.

I'm sort of in deep sh!t. I have a meeting at 2 and not much in particular to contribute Freaking freak.

Jazz didn't get Dr. K, this time.. it was some new chick-- an Indian (and when I say Indian, I mean Indian-from-India) with a hard to remember name that had repeating syllables in it. Shabaharamarama Balamaramadingdong. Okay, maybe there was no "ding dong" in her name, but there were repeating syllables. Jazz was in kind of bad shape because she'd run out of terbutaline on Tuesday and hadn't eaten anything. The wallet squeezer was the bloodwork. She had bloodwork done last time, but I thought it couldn't hurt because they did mention her teeth were kind of in grody condition and that could cause heart disease and stuff. Jazz has a follow up next Thursday.

I like Dr. K & staff. I think it's kind of funny how they refer to their clients' human as their Mommy or Daddy. It's sweet.

Survey jacked from Kim and everyone else who lived in the house that Jack built. 'Cause I don't have to leave for another hour. )
